Why William is doing this
Self-publishing isn't easy, so William could really use some help getting a decent number of early reviews to help this book stand out ahead of the Christmas market. It also lets him gauge how the material lands. Because it's a compendium of comedy rather than a conventional story, you're unlikely to read it cover to cover in one sitting, but you should be able to form an opinion before finishing the whole book. There's no way to monitor this once you've bought it, so it's running on trust: please post a review when you can, as short or long as you like. Honesty matters more than kindness here - a fair spread of opinion helps future readers make up their own mind more than uniformly glowing (but hollow) praise would.
